Food is not issue, anything will do.
Many people waste their whole life in thinking about what to eat, and controlling food habits. Please don’t waste your time and energy. Once you start meditating, meditation itself will take care about your eating habits.
It’s really doesn’t matter if you smoke, or take alcohol or you are a non vegetarian. You can begin from where you are. If you meditate long enough then it will be impossible for you to hurt anybody for food.
Eating anything does not make much difference, one may be vegetarian and cruel, or non vegetarian and loving. Many people lived totally vegetarian life but they are not spiritual.
Food cannot make you spiritual, but if you become spiritual then your food habits will change. It is not wise to change your food, but change your being and things will start changing.
