<p>Most of you, if you are doing martial art training, may know this principle, &#8220;Speed is a relaxed muscle contracting very quickly&#8221;. You can use this principle to speed up your alertness. You can come out of any negative emotion within a fraction of second. But you should develop this ability in day to day life so that you can use this principle effectively in any conflicting situation where emotions overwhelm you.</p>
<p>You should train yourself to suddenly detach yourself from your mind. It should happen very quickly and suddenly, like a flash of lightening. This ability is very useful. In this way you don&#8217;t watch your mind, emotions or thoughts but suddenly you step back and become aware of your whole body, your breathing and your surroundings. It happens in a fraction of second. There are no steps. This sudden alertness should be intense and speedy.</p>
<p>You can try this when you totally lose your mind. Suppose somebody insults you, you get hurt and you have lost your control. You are going to react and suddenly, like an accident you become alert and you stop. You look at your body, you feel your breathing and you are totally out. You become alert and you are out.</p>
<p>This is very effective strategy in any overwhelming situation. Don&#8217;t do any analysis, don&#8217;t judge or calculate. Just come out as if a dream is suddenly broken and become totally alert. And I say totally, not partially. Totally means <em>one hundred percent</em> not ninety-nine percent.</p>
<p>This way you suddenly move on. There is no way to look back. It’s over and you are out. It happens in an instant. Suppose you are cleaning your bathroom, suddenly stop and close your eyes and look within and feel your breathing and feel your whole body but this should not happen in sequence. It should happen simultaneously, not step by step but quickly. One moment you are in a dreamy state and the very next moment you are completely alert, one hundred percent.</p>
<p>If you can do this then you will never feel afraid of any negative emotion because you will know how to knockout your mind within a second. Develop quickness and power. You don&#8217;t have much time. You cannot afford to waste months and months to come out of a negative state. You have to break it within a moment. The moment you feel uncomfortable, realize that something is going wrong in your mind, instantly become alert. Be quick and intense.</p>
<p>In this way you escape from the hold of negative mindset or emotions before they take roots in your mind.</p>
<p>One last thing you should be relaxed and not tense up while practicing this whole shit. Do it swiftly but there should be no tension. You should do it softly. Be relaxed but quick, as quick as lightening. Suddenly bring your whole attention to the present moment. In the beginning of this post I said, &#8220;Speed is a relaxed muscle contracting very quickly&#8221;. But here you are doing exactly opposite. One moment you are tense, angry or panic and suddenly you throw the whole thing and you become totally alert and relax.</p>
<p>If you drink alcohol then you can try this to know how it actually works. It is strange but my meditation techniques works better for alcoholic people then for normal people. Anyway, after three or four drinks when you feel intoxicated and your body gets drowsy and heavy suddenly shake your body, throw out a deep breath and instantly become alert and throw the euphoria within a fraction of second and become totally normal as if nothing has happened. But do it very softly and naturally. Other people should not know what is happening.</p>
<p>Develop a knockout power in your alertness. The moment you realize or notice that you are in hell next moment you should be in the heaven. Fear, anxiety, anger, panic all these emotions are like hell. These emotions will come again and again in your life. Once you master this way to handle your mind you will spend very less time in negativity. Uncomfortable feelings are like signals. Once you get the signal, suddenly you should become alert. Don&#8217;t spend hours and hours to deal with negativity. You should spend at the most five seconds in any negative emotions. Buddy, you deserve the best life.</p>
<p>I say you can wipe out your strongest negative emotions within a second then why to waste years and years in therapy and techniques? There is no need to chase any guru. They are nonsense, they occupy your whole life like cancer and don&#8217;t left any space for you. They are hanging on your walls and in your neck-less. It is all nonsense.</p>
<p>Whenever negativity arises just clear the ground and move on.</p>
<p>I said practice coming out of mind within a second.</p>
<p>Mind it!</p>
<p>Do it thousands of time every day. Break the cycle again and again. Don&#8217;t sit in meditation, do it while you are walking, driving, talking. Do it everywhere, do it anytime. Do it in your bathroom, on your commode. After all this is a free style meditation. Everything is holy. Even your commode is holy, that&#8217;s why they say holy shit.</p>
<p>Do it even in sleep. In the middle of night if you wake up, suddenly become fully alert. Remember again, I say fully! Hundred percent alert. The moment you wake up, don&#8217;t open the eyes just become fully alert with your eyes closed. Within a second gather yourself, collect yourself. Most of the time we are scattered into the peaces. So collect yourself. Focus on the moment, feel your body, feel your breath, listen to the sounds or silence around, notice warmth or coldness in the weather. Be completely detached from the mind. Relax, don&#8217;t be tense. Do it smoothly. Nobody should know what you are doing, otherwise they will think that you are silly. Keep it secret.</p>

<p>Life is beautiful but only for those who have a sense of beauty. The mind becomes dull if it is constantly engaged in everlasting struggle of life. Without a beautiful heart how can you look at beauty? Beauty is not only in the face but also in the heart which is looking at the face.</p>
<p>Without love there is no beauty and there is no creativity. If you find only ugliness in life then something is wrong with you. It is your state of mind. Beauty is reality. It is not on the canvas. A beautiful painting is just a reflection of real beauty.</p>
<p>This moment is beautiful if you are sensitive and alert. Just close your eyes and feel your breathing, feel your heart pumping, feel the sensations of your cloths and listen to the sounds around you. Feel that you are alive and throbbing with energy. You don&#8217;t have to imagine anything, just feel what is already there, a beautiful mechanism, which is working silently, your body! This mechanism is so strange and complicated that it&#8217;s actually beautiful.</p>

<p>Once you feel the beauty of being alive then you will be able to feel the beauty everywhere. Because the same mechanism working everywhere. This same mechanism is alive and throbbing with energy in flowers, birds, trees, animals and everywhere. Then you will know what beauty is.</p>
<p>Beauty is the fragrance of loving heart. You don&#8217;t love a woman because she is beautiful, but she is beautiful because you love her.</p>

<p>Concentration or focused attention is very much respected by society. Parents want to teach children how to concentrate and memorize. And many people complain that they can not remain focused on one subject. Well, this is a misconception. Anger is concentration, hurt is concentration. All suffering is nothing but focused attention. All of us are having good concentration skills. The problem comes when you want to focus on something in which you are NOT interested. For example a student is not interested in maths but he  want to focus on maths only to pass the exams.</p>
<p>You are already master in concentration. If you don&#8217;t believe me then watch yourself when you are angry. You are so focused in anger that you forget everything. People can not stop smoking or drinking because of strong concentration. All suffering which comes after breakup is nothing but concentrated focus on a single person. If you can not forgive someone for years means you are totally focused on that person. This shows that you can remain focused on something for years.</p>
<p>Mind automatically get focused on the topic in which it is interested. Whether it is good or bad it doesn&#8217;t matter. You feel angry or hurt because it gives your ego good feeling. You feel like you are important.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t need to develop the skills of concentration, instead find the area in which you are most interested and you will get easily successful.</p>
<p>The students which are always on the top in school exams may considered as intelligent just because they are on the top. But in latter years other boys, who are having more social skills, confidence, and common sense, who are more focused on money and power may get more successful. This so called intelligence (which is the outcome of concentration) is relative and only time being. The object of concentration will change according to your change in interest.</p>
<p>You will be considered as a genius as long as you are focused on something in which you are interested and easily getting success. But you can be also considered as a fool if people could not understand your genius. The view of society about a successful man is very narrow. Basically it is based on money or social states. Money can easily hide your stupidity.</p>
<p>Meditation is NOT concentration; a meditative person is not focused on anything. He is just present. That&#8217;s why concentration on breathing is not meditation. Suppose you are totally focused on breathing and forget everything, then it is not meditation. Every year thousands of people travel all around the world and waste money to learn such kind of stupid things. What they teach in meditation camps is nothing but concentration. Meditation camps are concentration camps because along with stupid techniques they also brainwash you. Meditation can not be taught in camps. You have to learn it yourself in daily activities.</p>
<p>Earning money, balancing relationships, enjoying life, learning new skills, making new friends and achieving goals everything is part of meditation. It is not running away from life. Meditation is very balancing act. A meditative person is not introvert or extrovert. He is just balanced.</p>
<p>A person trying to concentrate can easily get disturbed, because he is fighting, resisting and trying his best to remain focused on &#8216;one thing&#8217;. A meditative person can not be disturbed because he is not forcing himself to remain focused. He is simply present. Forced alertness or awareness is not meditation, it is concentration.</p>
<p>Meditation is to simply being with yourself in the moment. And concentration is to leave yourself and focus on some point in time and space.</p>

<p>It is not our job to transform the world and obviously we can not, but it is our job and responsibility to transform our self. And as we begin to transform our self, the world begins to transform for us. It&#8217;s just a matter of perspective. Our job is to find our balance, and once we find our balance and start living from that place everything becomes easy and effortless for us.</p>
<p>Your alignment to &#8216;who really you are&#8217; automatically allow things to line up for you. It&#8217;s only resistance that makes everything difficult. Once you start aligning your thoughts with &#8216;what exactly you want to create or accomplish&#8217; things become easier. Resistance means thoughts which are not in synchronization or alignment with &#8216;what you want to create&#8217;, for example fear or doubt. When you understand this then everything you want is just a thought away from you. Giving attention to ‘what you want’ is the beginning of creation. And of course giving attention to ‘what you do not want’ is also creation. So it is our job to give undivided attention in a &#8216;relaxed way&#8217; to &#8216;what we want to create&#8217;. Whatever you are thinking right now you are attracting in your experience so just notice your thoughts and if that creation is not good for you then ask &#8216;what is good for me?&#8217; and your attention will shift to that which is good for you.</p>
<p>The energy which creates the universe is available to you and you are the director of your movie. With your attention or focus you create effortlessly whatever you want or don&#8217;t want. As you become more conscious about your thoughts you shift automatically towards that which makes you feel good. You are where your attention is and your thoughts goes on creating a world around you.</p>
<p>Once you start living with awareness you will know the cause of your suffering, poor health, broken relationships and financial problems in your misaligned thinking structure. In the light of awareness there will be a shift. There will be spontaneous and effortless changes and healing in your life. Freedom means not getting stuck in &#8216;what is&#8217; but looking for &#8216;better aspect&#8217; in &#8216;what is&#8217; and transforming &#8216;what is&#8217; with your attention.</p>
<p>Prosperity flows when you give attention to the prosperity of the universe and order emerges when you give attention to the natural order of the universe. There is natural healing when you come closer to the secret of nature. Healing mechanism is already there in your body, sometimes allow it to work for you.</p>

<p>On this blog we often discuss about &#8216;meditation&#8217; and &#8216;living in the present moment&#8217; or living with &#8216;what is&#8217; but that does not mean that one should not try to change &#8216;what is&#8217; and remain stuck with &#8216;what is&#8217;. For example someone is having poor health or financial problems. Then focusing on &#8216;what is&#8217; will only repeat the same experience and it will just give continuity to &#8216;what is&#8217;. One should be able to look for the better aspect in &#8216;what is&#8217;. There are always so many things happening around to which one can give attention and feel better.</p>
<p>And this is not running away from &#8216;what is&#8217; but finding &#8216;better feeling aspects&#8217; in &#8216;what is&#8217;. This is the first step. If you could just find something better in every negative situation you will feel much better. And every morning if you just make a small decision to see something better in every situation or every person you will feel much better and get aligned with good feelings. If you just do this small experiment for few days you will find your health will improve and you will become more energetic. Giving attention to everyday worries and problems however they may seem important only increases them. Your focus or attention only increases them. This is the second step to understand that your attention to negativity only increases negativity. First step was to look for better aspect in every situation and second step is to understand your attention to unwanted things only increases them.</p>
<p>For example you if someone is ill and if he is worried about his health and constantly finding what is wrong in his body, he will always find something wrong. Ok this is simple. Instead of finding something wrong see what is working well. Or just enjoy watching good movies, reading books or whatever makes you feel good. Distract your mind. Give your attention to something makes you feel better and your body will automatically start healing itself, and you will start getting better. Your attention to disease only magnifies disease. So your attention is the key. Your attention to illness prevents healing.</p>
<p>Now third step and that is using your imagination. This is the most powerful step which guides your brain to ‘what to create’ for yourself. If you imagine vividly anything you desire &#8216;as if it is already there&#8217; sooner or latter your mind will create it.</p>
<p>People know it since thousands of years and almost all healing methods are using imagination. It is simple. Suppose you are skinny then regularly imagine yourself going to the Jim and eating healthy food, entertain how you will feel when you will get muscular and how will you feel when you will get strong. You don’t need to bother about &#8216;how you are going to be muscular&#8217; because your mind will automatically find the easiest way to achieve desired result. Just imagine yourself walking in the street with your new healthy and muscular body with six pack abs of course inside your shirt and focus how will you feel when people will appreciate your new look. Make it more real and feel as if you are already having it.</p>
<p>If you are diseased then remember how you feel when you were healthy and as you entertain the feelings of healthy body your body will start getting better. It works in every situation. And use your imagination in easy situations or problems so that you can use it someday in difficult situations.</p>
<p>If you want to become financially stable then run a movie of yourself getting financially stable and effortlessly earning and living a rich and lavish life. Run this kind of movie in every detail and stay focused on this mental picture and always give attention to this picture in your mind whenever you remember. Enjoy being rich in your imagination and one day it will become your reality.</p>
<p>If you are afraid of public speaking then imagine that you are the best orator and people are appreciating your speech and you are talking to great audiences confidently, and you will achieve the proper alignment with those feelings and thoughts. Be consciously aligned with &#8216;what you want to achieve&#8217; or &#8216;what you want to become&#8217; with your thoughts or imagination. See as if it is already happening and feel inside how you will feel if you get there.</p>
<p>Remember your body is actually your thought in three dimension and your reality change with your thought. Your attention is creating your life experiences so learn to give attention to better aspects of life and stay focused on good feelings and prosperity of life. Your attention is your life.</p>
