An American visited India and went back to America where he met his Indian friend who asked him How did you find my country?
The American said it is a great country with solid ancient history
And immensely rich with natural resources..
The Indian friend then asked ….
How did you find Indians ….??
Indians..?
Who Indians??
I didn’t find or meet a single Indian there in India.
What nonsense??
Who else can you meet in India then……??
The American said …
In Kashmir I met a Kashmiri– In Punjab a Panjabi—–
In Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Bengal, Tamilnadu
I find Bihari, Marathi, Marwari, Bengali, Tamilian, Malayali…
Then I meet-
A Muslim,
A Hindu,
A Christian,
A Jain,
A Buddhist
And many many many more
But not a single Indian did I meet!

I agree with your post. It makes me feel I must undertake a quest to unify people of the most blessed land.
But then again another crosses my mind.
Is this my concern?
Should my goal not be to be one with the supreme?
If you stop being a hindu, a muslim or a jain or a bihari or a maharastrian and become an Indian then also you are making the same mistake.
To be one with the supreme YOU must come out of all lables.
And why you think that you must undertake a quest to unify people?
Start from yourself.
This is not your concern to unify people.
Your concern is only to free yourself from all lables.
Agreed

explain me d art of being an indian n tomorrow explain me how i can b a human… makes sense????
Still I love India… But we should all transcend nationality to embrace humanity.
u r asking: “explain me d art of being an indian n tomorrow explain me how i can b a human”,
well there is no art in becoming an indian or pakistani or american or talibani it is just a conditioning (programmed brain), nationality is just a concept which separates u from other human being, that’s why i am not for patriotism.
when u drop all these labels than only u become a human.
u r saying still i love india, but where is india? only on the map, it is man made boundary, life does not know if there is a country namely india or america and u r saying that we should embrace humanity …? where is this thing u call humanity? u can find a single human being, individual person, but not humanity. beware of false notions and concepts. humanity is a concept, a human being is real. u can never embrace humanity but u can certainly embrace a single human.
thanks for ur comments.
